Fox Counter -- Anyone try it?
 

How does it compare to other counters out there?

I posted this about a week ago.. The same applies today

I've been running it on some of my sites for just on a day now and I really like what I see so far.
The most important thing for me is naturally it's speed and accuracy.
Well admittedly there's not much load on the server yet, but so far it's consistently been the first counter to pop up on my pages when they are loaded.
Also, the stats are EXTREMELY close to what my scripts report, and that's with the button at the bottom of the page.
So that's two thumbs up there.

Now we get to the details. The stat reports seem very easy to navitgate, and just about every detail I need is there. Web browsers, screen depth and resolution, platform, referrers (seems to do a much better job at catching referrers than some of my other counters - not sure why), and of course, returns, uniques and hits.
Almost all these stats can also be broken down into months, weeks, days, and hours.

The stats aren't overloaded with uneeded java, and so everything loads very quickly, and I can find my way around ALOT more simply than some other counters.

Anyway.. That's my experience so far. Hopefully it'll continue to remain accurate when the server load picks up a bit more.
But I'm happy at the moment.

Can you have mutiple counters on the same account like with paycounter.

yep counting is good maybe but i think it need more features

like visitors countries, how many minute they stayed....

Well this was very interresting. A few nights ago I saw that Lightning had put it up in his footers, but within a few hours the counter crashed, then I noticed in the morning that Lightning took it out of his footers??....this was wierd, I think Lightnings traffic caused this counter to crash????...
Yo Lightning or Fox counter people, do any of you have a comment on this possibally???

The only thing it doesn't do so far is, it doesn't seem to suck my dick thru the screen like I want it to.

WTF? It's a HITS counter dude...you want a submitter, you know where to go.

For them to just bring it out and have such a good response like that, and to get it to work with Minimal problens is a huge sucess.To me I think there gonna rock,once there able to handle more traffic.. Nice to hear of new products coming out and I congrads to fox counter for there product and presence..
