The movie "CRASH" ...

Best I've seen in a LONG time ...

IMHO the dialog and acting fuckin' rocked ... storyline(s) were good and twisted!

If you haven't seen it yet, check it out!

No.

It's a movie about all types of people in many positions "in life" ... racism, stereotypes, love, hate, and the human condition with Los Angeles as the backdrop.

It's an extremely powerful film that exposes people for what they are in MANY ways but offers no real fix or resolution.

You just kinda walk away saying "FUCK!" or "WOW!"

Google the movie because my description doesn't give it any justice.

It really IS a MUST SEE movie!

I actually cried when the guy shot the gun, you know what part

JuiceMonkey 08-10-2005 09:12 PM

I heard it was awesome as well.. will be watching soon.

buddyjuf 08-10-2005 09:12 PM

One of my top 5... I can't wait for it to come on DVD...

Sin 08-10-2005 09:14 PM

Wow I don't know what Crash movie you saw but the only one that comes to my mind is one I saw a few years ago, where people crash cars, and the survivors fuck on the hood with the dead bodies still inside. The movie I'm thinking of has no plotline that I was able to see, although it was definitely twisted!

evildick 08-10-2005 09:15 PM

I thought you were talking about the Cronenberg flick where people went around purposely getting in car accidents to get their rocks off. That movie was pretty fucked up.

I pictured the same thing, all i can see is my daughter at that moment, and I wasn't the only one crying in the room either, This is such a powerful movie.

hehe yeah there's two movie named crash...one that came out in 96...and one in 2004....they are both good, but really different hehe...

Crash(2004) really has some powerful scenes....the crash..the gunshot etc...you know which ones if you've seen it...

RevSand 08-10-2005 11:27 PM

Very awesome movie.. I will own it on DVD when its out..

tristan_D 08-10-2005 11:35 PM

the first Crash was by David Cronenberg I think, the one who directed The Fly. I've heard some good things about Crash(2004) and it makes me want to see it.

No doubt!

samsam 08-11-2005 01:26 AM

there should be a movie starring J$yles and Kbizzle.

They'd call it "Mob Blow Out"

Here's the basic story line:

It would be a kind of goodfellas, except that the mob has turned its back on the narcotics industry and entered into a pornography business. All the same characters, plus porn except that its in "those days" so they would have been peddling videos and shit. J$tyles would play a restauranteur who also shoots content (cue some good scenes with sex and food). When a rival makes a hit on one of their made guys, chaos happens and they start inviting people to the restaurant to kill them.

Kbizzle is a distributor who gets involved with a glamourous porn lady who's just after money and can't really handle the mob life. So she ends up, fucking things up and getting Kbizzle behind bars.

Lensman would play a corrupt senator whos manipulation by J$tyles leads to the throwing out of a case against kbizzle and the murder of a high profile investigator (who happens to be the ex husband of the porn lady). Things get fucked up from that point forward as clues received by the porn lady trace all the way back to J$tyles.

just an idea anyway :2 cents:

should be comming out on dvd soon..

definatly gonna see that flicka

JohnW 08-11-2005 01:34 PM

Brilliant movie...everyone should have it on their "must see " list.

Directed by Paul Haggis who did Million Dollar Baby (Best Picture Oscar)

I thought Matt Dillon was awesome...very powerfull portrayal of his character.

I saw the trailer and it looked wank. Might drag the lass along to see it tomorrow now though..

LittleSassy 08-11-2005 03:07 PM

is it like a heavy drama?

Ricky Dynamite 08-11-2005 03:09 PM

When's it coming out on DVD? The movie is awesome.

Machete_ 08-11-2005 03:13 PM

I just watched, and I think it sucked.. It was like it tryed to be a "art work" more than a story. To many fake "moments"

V_RocKs 08-11-2005 03:23 PM

Great movie, wish they could all be that good.

demented 08-11-2005 03:47 PM

Awesome movie. Watched it a couple weeks ago.. Definitely a must see :)

Project-Shadow 08-11-2005 04:08 PM

Was a great movie, but to be honest, anything that follows a Pulp Fiction layout is pretty much guarenteed to be a good film.

I disagree. I think the movie was "dead on" about people and life in many ways.

:2 cents:

reed_4 08-12-2005 12:49 AM

i still haven't seen that film. might as well get a dvd of that one.

VeriSexy 08-12-2005 01:01 AM
