The terms "straight up" and "top notch" are starting to irritate me...
Is that something people say when they can't think of anything specific, personal, or original to say?
"So and so is TOP NOTCH!" I feel like asking "How the fuck do you know? Have you ever done any serious business with them? Does top notch mean they bought a round of beers a year ago at a convention?" I dunno I'm just venting cuz I have a headache... Ignore me. Carry on |
round of beers... that's about right.
RRRed, you're top shelf babe... :) |
This is a top Notch thread , take that staight up from me RRRED :Graucho
|
Damn... I used to use top-notch a lot... but now I fear the wrath of RRRED!
What's a girl to do? |
I like "straight up", as opposed to bent over backwards. LOL.

Staight up Rrred.... that shit is annoying :1orglaugh

this "fletch xxx" asshole is getting on my nerves

You have to realise that the "TOP NOTCH" and "<SPONSOR> IS GOOD PEOPLE" comments are made by fake nicks.
In general, a sponsor has at least 4-5 fake nicks on GFY, just in case. So when a thread starts about that sponsor, the 4-5 nicks will use the above comments. |
RRRed i can't agree with you more , those terms are totally cheesy , annoying, overused and abused .... even if you do business with the person on a tight level , you honestly think you really know em ? The answer is no .
|
I like to use the term "cutting edge".

"monetize"
hate that word, overused, and really it has no exact meaning (even though we all know what those using it are trying to say) |
"Soul mate" ---- way overused beyond all original meaning. People who say this nowadays need to be killed, quickly.
"Down to earth" --- same as above. Meaningless cliche's abound these days though. " |
