Voxel is pleased to announce the addition of Level(3) Communications to our premium network blend. Level(3) is a formidable supplement to our already spectacular network, which now includes two of the largest IP networks in the world (Level(3) and UUNet).

Our Voxel network consists of transit from UUNet(MCI), Level (3), NAC, nLayer, as well as both public and private peering. This network provides exceptional global latency and is tailored to streaming applications, gaming, file transfers and any other mission critical applications. This includes a direct peering relationship with Cablevision who owns and operates OptimumOnline, a large NY Metro Cable Broadband provider. Excellent for VoIP and Gaming to OptimumOnline subscribers, or anyone else for that matter!

The core of our network runs on redundant Juniper M-series routers, which offer significantly better performance and resiliency than their equivalent Cisco counterparts. Using BGP4+ routing, we have the ability to ensure that your visitors are able to get to your site using the shortest and most optimal path.

We our also proud to introduce our Cogent Value Network . This network consists of Cogent transit, as well as both public and private peering. Our value network is configured to fail-over to our Premium network in the event of any network outages. This network is ideal for high transfer applications such as downloadable images, videos and other content.

What makes Voxel's Cogent Value Network better than the alternatives?

1) Location! We offer the only affordable unmetered servers in the prime NYC market. All servers are located at TELEHOUSE AMERICA at 25 Broadway in Manhattan.

2) Full Incoming Routes. While other providers only offer Cogent, our product utlizes Cogent for outbound bandwidth only. Incoming bandwidth travels across the shortest route as determined by BGP.

3) BGP backed up. We guarantee our Cogent service with hot-failover to our Voxel network in the even of any outage. We can also utilize our Voxel network to route around any Cogent problems.

4) Peering. Not only does traffic flow out through our Cogent lines, it also will travel out any of our multiple peering relationships! (Private peering, as well as NYIIX and NYCX)
