Gsm phone anybody?
 

This is off the wall, but I would like to know how many if any have switced over or will soon switch to Gsm phones .

Also where and how is the coverage?

We all like toys and this is fairly new to NA, so I thought you would be the right ones to ask.

Been using the Motorola T-190 ( i think) here in Toronto.

It is the first GSM phone they have released here. It's ok.....the coverage range is the same as the digital phones except that Rogers At&t only has single band. So the phone won't work in the good ole' US of A.

The internet feature is Slow as hell. But the cellular providers here only support up to 14.4 for cellular modems so i don't expect that the phone is going to operate any faster.

I wouldn't waste any money on it.

In the netherlands we you can get a gsm for about 50$ So everyone I know has a gsm celullar.

I'm old school, I still use the Motorola i1000
