server not found page Hijacked -- Help.

Some site hijacked my "server not found" Internet Explorer error page and replaced it with their Search page.

Does anybody know how to switch it back to the default one?

Thanks.

hey brock ...

is it that fuckin MSN page? I hate that fucking thing

if it's not ... then I believe there's a setting in your Tools --> Internet Options folder ...

hopefully that helps at least point you in the right direction.

Hey Tadow,

I saw that page you're talking about before, but that's not it (it's not my start page that's hijacked, it's the DNS Error/Server not found page). It opens up some console and all shit goes to hell.

RK, I'll give it a try but I'm already using IE 6!

Oh well...

erm.. yeah .. I know what you mean.

my friend wrote a script that changes your notfound page ... and it fucked my browser for a while .. there's some preference somewhere that you can change it ..

Tadow,

Thanks for the help!

After some researching, I found some information:

You need to edit your registry.
I believe these are the keys that the script messed with
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchUrl
