they are now rationing gas here in charlotte nc
 

cops are all over gas stations everywhere.

seems that we get all our gas from LA and that with them being under water we arent looking at a major fuel shippment for a week.

i didnt stop at the gas station to figure out how they are doing it, but i seen the cops + heard it on the radio. they are also talking about.. dig this... closing down public schools + public bus systems.

we are over 3 bucks a gallon here this am, so i can only think what it will be tomorrow.

im going to fill up everything tonight after the hub bub has died down.

i really think they should start using alcohol

Start getting gas cans and filling those up as well.

If they say a week, in reality it means a lot longer and they do not want to cause panic.

the gas scare is over nothing in Georgia Gov Perdu says that there is no shortage of gas after prices here reach in some place 6 dollars a gallon , he then froze any prices from going higher. Claims that the shortage is only rumours and people should just behave normaly

WEll, I just got back. I had to go to three different gas stations to get gas. The lines were ridiculous. They actually start rationing tomorrow morning and so far the radio stations have no idea how it will work.

I'm just down the road from charlotte, haven't started rationing yet, but it has been pretty crazy at a few of the stations around here.
