Yes, they were not allowed into New Orleans but they were denied access to New Orleans by city and state officials.

It's true, but they have good reasoning behind it... they've been giving the people food and water, and nobody will leave. They can't afford to just keep delivering food and water to the idiots who refuse to leave and would rather wade around in toxic sewage.

It is the poor people who will not leave. Poor people try herd to get the things they own, which is now destroyed, but they still have hope. It is all they have left, whatever they can salvage after shit dries up. They cannot afford insurance and they have no money on reserve... many don't have anywhere or anything to "move" to.

I am glad all the rich people are safe and secure.
