No disrespect to NO residents who actually lost their lives, livelyhood and belongings by talking about a mere tourist, but imagine this...

You go on holiday in a foreign country and you get mugged.. you then get picked up by the cops for being drunk and locked up because a hurricane is coming.. A category 5 hurricane hits and the parish prison where they're keeping you floods and they transfer you to a MAXIMUM SECURITY prison with rioting prisoners. The hurricane destroys your charge records so you've got to be held in prison.

You go from another drunk tourist to being a lone shy aussie whiteboy trapped in some bumfuck deep south maximum security prison near a disaster zone..

I was actually thinking about hat yesterday.. Imagine if you were set to be released from prison and the hurricane hit. They must lose all the records and shit, you would be stuck in jail..

I think the other story about the old folks home is sadder.

Stupid fuckers left 30 old people to drown in their beds, they just simply left them to die.. those people should be charged with homicide
