Photography question, legal stuff
What does the law say about taking pics of say, a coke bottle and then to sell it? I mean, not the coke bottle somewhere in the background, but it being the main focus. Or a camera picture on a webdesign, if I take a picture of my own camera (with another camera dumbass), and place it into a design of a tour where the 'logo' is visible or it's clear what camera it is etc etc.
Basically making money of pictures of another companys product. 'stock art' kinda way. |
totally illegal without the permission of the trademark owner.

Once shot a set in a bar, took us an hour to reverse all the bottles. |
Just making sure :)
So basically everything trademarked should be cropped out of the image? Where does the line go? |
A girl wearing adidas clothes?
Girl in 'some known' victorias secret lingerie? Sitting on a designer sofa? Making dinner on a 'Braun' stove? |
just do it
|
Posing on a ferrari?
posing as a photographer and using a canon camera? etc etc? How about at a car show, I take a pic of a ferrari on a display? Can I resell that image? |

You have the law and you have the interpretation of it. Your questions follow the logic behind "fair use"
