Holland America sucks.
 

My wife and I recently went on a cruise on Holland America in Europe, booked the Penthouse Suite ($26,990) for 14 days.

They shrunk my damn tux, 4 pairs of pants got lost, the toilet in the guest bath overflowed.. the bathtub spout yellow water (the engineer said it was oxygenated water (do I look that fucking dumb). They fucked up most of the shore excursions, and our damn steward ripped off my CD collection.

And what's even worse.. when ever we asked for something to get fixed.. addressed.. returned... we got the ol' "We no speak English". When we finally found someone with an ounce of authority.. they said that "Americans Complain to much.. and that none of the other passengers seem to have a problem.

When we got back, we complained to some SVP at HAL...

They sent us a FRUIT OF THE MONTH subscription.

Anyway.. Holland America sucks.

first of all what do you mean the Holland America Line ?

If you got problems onboard you should head over to the 1st mate of captain they can help you for sure and they speak english very well

you probably met one of those philiphinno's thats what they call sailling under cheap flag, they pay only 5$/day to those guys so you can't expect that they speak english maybe a few words like go fuck yourself LOL most of them dont have an education only the officers onboard (all dutch at the Holland America Line) speak english very well to my knowledge (a few friends of mine are sailing there as engineer and mate)

i suggest that you call their main office and ask for another free trip at least or maybe you can get a refund of %40

I coul have told you they sucked. I had a similar experience with them. I only use Princess Cruises now. Do not bother with Carnival either.

Yeah.. I sailed on the Island Princess in the Med 4 years ago. Fucking awsome. Ship was smaller and older than HALs Rotterdam, but the attention to detail was impressive.

Everyone was saying how great HAL was so I have them a shot. Mistake.

You can not rape the willing. In your case.... you could roleplay though.

Although they suck.. the penthouse was pretty bad ass.
