going great man. friday was 3 weeks without anything. ran about 3.0 miles yesterday. i run different than other people though. i run till i get winded, then i walk about 1/4 mile, then i run again till winded, repeat. etc.
i have killed my diet. removed all bad fat from it. have a stockpile of fish and skinless chicken in the freezer and tons of veggies. all candy, soda, and junkfood has been thrown out or given to the neighbor kids. i went out and bought a couple hundred bucks worth of frozen fruits with no added sugars or preservatives, and protein powder(soy), and a industrial strength blender. i just ordered my favorite cleanse from www.naturalfactors.com and got a replacement pilates exercise ball to replace the one i cut by accident, and a weight set for toning up again. i been lacking on the ab exercises a little though. i want to give my stomach some natural time to heal itself before i go hitting it hard. i had a small stomach ulcer from drinking vodka. overall its going great. i am really low on the carb side at this point. my goal is to streamline my diet into fast burn fuels until i get into maybe a month, then bulk one week and tone the next. i have a fast metabolism already so a few days a week of blasting healthy carbs should be ok. thanks for asking. some of the responses i got here kept me going through the periods that i really wanted that cigarette. now that its been three weeks and i've gotten the nicotine out of my blood, its not bad. my lungs still hurt a little, but that will subside. :) |
Very solid. Others would recommend NOT doing such a dramatic life change all at once, but I've found that it's the best way. You totally revamp your entire daily routine, and in two weeks it's suddenly "normal".
