Locked out your ip. I think it lasts like 15 or 30 minutes.
You can call in and fix it though.
Then again I may just be talking out of my ass right now.

Ok this is crap I'm so tired of this fixing itself then happening again. Get it together :Oh crap :Oh crap :Oh crap :Oh crap

BV 10-02-2005 03:10 PM

pretty sure you have to call in

happens from too many attempts using wrong login or pass

DWB 10-02-2005 03:12 PM

Call them. Happens after you mess up your user/pass 3 times.

xxxice 10-02-2005 03:12 PM

But it was fixed for a bit and then happened again I would have to call all the time. Maybe it is because I use statsremote.

Ok I am starting to like this. Can't check stats who knows if hits are reporting. Awesome :thumbsup

Your CCBill password expires every three months iirc.

You're usually prompted to change it once you login, but sometimes you don't get the prompt and, as it's been said, three wrong login attempts and you're locked out. A call will fix that right up.

I wish they had a recover password link, or at least give a better error message.

you messed up and blame ccbill?

For your security, after three failed attempts we will block the IP for one hour. In most cases we will be able to reset it prior to the hour.

Just email or call and we can help.

Thing is my password still works and every few hours or so it goes on and off. I am thinking it is because statsremote.

I believe that only applies to merchants, not affiliates. :2 cents:

Thanks for the reply. Could the error also be cause with statsremote I am loggin in sometimes more than once in an hour period? My password works fine as far as I can tell when I can login ...

CCBill Paul 10-07-2005 12:24 PM

Multiple logins in any time frame should be fine as long as you are always using the correct information.
