Receivers are a good all-in-one solution but nothing can touch a dedicated power amp and preamp.

I am pushing 325w X 5 and let me tell you its a night and day difference compared to the power of a receiver :)

my "system" was featured in last weeks episode of "Lost". It's a very expensive system. All you gotta do to run it is type in a series of numbers. It's pretty sweet - it actually saves the world on a daily basis. Does your "system" do that?
