i was thinking about that too, is it worth the trouble ?? and how about the support issues when people think they can write in using their own language etc...

Yeah, there would have to be a support backend, probably outsourced support, that's why it would be great to work with a sponsor already promoting in those regions.

babelfish @ altavista has a thing you can add to your site so users click it & the page gets translated, but then your site ends up in a framed page with an altavista ad ad top & it fucks up the reflinks & the friggen translation is so botched & half assed. it would be better to have someone translate the page, ftp it to a folder for that translation & link to the translation from the index like "click her for spanish version" (but in spanish) or a spanish flag, etc..
