I want to spend $10,000

I am currently working with an emerging adult company that has a very unique product, in fact, it hasn't been done.

Many, many thousands of dollars have already been invested in technology.

I want to put together an ad campaign for this company who can allocate $10,000 in for webmaster recruitment, with more budget available.

I plan to travel to meet with some advertising people.

Here's my list so far:

Adult.com
xBiz
Klixxx
AVN
yNot

Who am I missing? I'm not interested in small boards or companies who don't have a reach and scope outside of board advertising.

Ideas?

Thanks,

A-S-T

$10k? are you travelling to meet all these people over $10k to spend?

$10k can get you 3-4 mths of advertising here i say you stay with gfy

What's the Product ?

They have $10,000 they can initially allocate right now. That doesn't include my work, airfare or per diem.

I think Eric will hook me up :D

GFY is at the top of my list because IMO no one can brand a program like this board will. Now it has more clout than ever.

No one.

yup, definetly gfy is THE place for that

Traveling over $10k is ridiculous.

Assuming the product is non-competing, you might be able to advertise to affiliates through existing major affiliate programs.

Speak for yourself.

This company is paying the bill, paying me and that's what they want me to do.

Am I going to say "nevermind, I don't want to do it. Find someone else to pay a nice amount of money to for doing easy work".

LOL

thats interesting considering the mailing lists (members) boards have access to. youre closing quite a few doors that way.

But I don't read them. I'm a member of 50 or so boards and I get multiple board mails every day. I throw them away.

I know you get a lot too, honestly, do you read them?

I have personally done board advertising, prizes, store products etc and the main value in this is branding because there isn't an immediate ROI. There are only a handfull of boards that I'd be interested in being on (paid), and even then mostly for the branding.

I think board-tracker may be a better way to go, just for the branding. I advertised on there and got like 5 clicks in a month, but I think it's good enough for branding.

Dalai Lama, no. It's not my product.
