Say Thank You
 

People don't say Thank You enough. Maybe I was just raised better but I'm amazed at how little people express in the manners department.

I say thank you countless times per day. I appreciate when someone does something for me, even if it's their job.

Maybe you are just underestimating the effect of that thing but a word "thank you" really sounds great to its recipient. It just shows how you truly appreciate someone's effort to please you or to do you a favor.

You are right, it is disheartening to see the lack of manners so many display these days.
Pretty sad when people are not even brought up to say please and thank you. A big pet peeve of mine is when i thank someone only to hear the reply 'umm hum'.
Whatever happened to 'you're welcome' ? Etiquette people please!

I say thank you all the time. I say it to the cashier at the grocery store, I say it to people I talk to on a daily basis, and I even say thank you when someone does something simple. I guess it's just my southern charm, that's the way I was raised.
