I agree on both points.

I used to get it sometimes, but I always spilled the shit because of their crappy lids. I never spill it with any other lids... only Starbucks.

Plus, it tastes like shit. Best coffee is from Dunkin Donuts.

I just got in my car and drove away and the shit was so full it started spilling everywhere. I dont know why starbucks makes those shitty lids its beyond me. I love DD's thats my home.

they need lids that close off. always spills in my car on the way to work if i get starbucks. dunkin donuts stays sealed.

I can count the times I have ordered Starbucks on my hands. Not a big fan of coffee. It actually makes me tired. If I want to be wired I take 1 of these little crack nuggets.

I drink black coffee at home but I love Starbucks... the lids aren't shitty, coffee will spill out the mouth part in the car if they fill the cup to full. it's annoying but I've never considered it a problem with Starbucks but just something that will happen.

I love the taste of their coffee and the consistency between different stores, it's nice to go to a Starbucks anywhere in the country and it tastes the same. Plus their soy milk is better then the cheap stuff most places buy. <--- does that make me more of a fag? jk

I think I have been to Starbucks one time.. I normally make my own coffee.. I don't like paying that much money for coffee I can get for 10 cents on the dollar at home

Starbucks is for posers......but if it's the only coffee around, I'll walk in and order a reg. drip coffee, or an Americano.......and feel like a man among boys, when I notice how many ppl in the store have whipped cream and caremel over flowing from their cups...lol

mmm, white chocolate mocha....but they seem to misunderstand liquid displacement with regards to filling the cup too full and then slapping on an ill fitting lid...they should have little lines etched inside the cup "Don't fill past this line"

Well I went to the post office this morning and this thread had me craving Starbucks... so I ordered a Venti Soy Mocha and when I got to the window a lady in there making drinks told me she made another drink on accident and asked if I wanted it for free with my other drink. I said sure... I'm still not sure what it was but it was iced with pumpkin and soy milk. Pretty good too...

Oh and some of my mocha spilled out of my mouth opening when I took a corner really fast. Faster then I should have been... and the drink would have been finished by then normally but I drank the free one first.

Starbucks lids are way better than Tim Horton's lids, at least.

I have the worst luck with Peets. It has to do with the seam on the cup. The thicker, the more space for coffee to dribble out underneath the lid and go all down your front. I try to position the sipper portion of the lid opposite the cup seam. That usually gives the best seal.

coffee sucks in general

It splashes out of that hole into the mouth part and then all over the interior of my nearly new German luxury car. Not a pleasing feeling to have coffee on your fine German leather or carpet.

Great idea unless you get a large. Do you ask for it in two large cups instead? Could be a pain in the ass.

starbucks lids are the only ones i like. you just have to make sure they're on tight & never grab from the top
