Please tell me how having your website hosted in another country removes you from U.S. jurisdiction, even if you still do business in the U.S., reside in the U.S., pay taxes in the U.S., etc .......???

It might take them a little bit longer to look at your site, but I wouldn't consider it a way to "avoid 2257" in any way shape or form.

The only thing that hosting " out of the USA " gives the adult webmaster is that the server can and would probably stay on line ( as with CHris the " Iraqi Pics" exchange site ). His ass still ended up in jail, and soon in court.

The advantage of hosting out of the USA is mainly to foreigners, non-us corp/citizens that are hosting in the USA originally because of pricing and connectivity. By taking away that " liability", they are way more secure.

If you host outside the USA, and your Biz is outside the USA, and you shoot live n shit outside the USA then rules such as USC2257 and all the other crap going on stateside does not and can not effect the kind of biz set up outlined above.

I have an dispute with an romanian webmaster once, and in the end we figured out that it was just problems with how we communicate. In some countries you just do not say some things.
