Costa Rica bash or Internext
the 2 are so close together and with so many shows to choose from now.
I'm starting to enjoy the tropical ones more What shows are your favorite No matter what I will see everyone in LA Webmaster Access |
I agree that I like the tropical shows better. However, Internext is still the biggest and so I will be there also.
I do like the Curacao show and I think the Costa Rica things sounds fun also. We'll see, I guess! Matt |
internext vegas will be a surferfest2006
do the costa rica bash..tropical owns freezing winter... |
I wouldnt consider costa rica tropical Rog...like the curacao trip ..Costa Rica is very 3rd world ....Youll be spending most of your time in Jaco where we have stayed many times..id recomend getting the Casa Dome house in Los Suenos its around $1100 a night but its a big bad ass house with pool ....private security

Costa Rica, even though Jaco is a terrible beach compared to what we have in the Guanacaste province.
|
I am almost 90% sure I will be attending the costa rica show...it will be my first show in years
I have a buddy that lives down there, once the show is over we will be going to his land in the rain forests to stay for a week....... |
The IwantU team will be at both :thumbsup
We aren't trying to compete in anyway with Internext....or any show for that matter. However with the number of shows, it's next to impossible to not be around the same time as atleast 1-2 others... February is best for us due to the weather, as well as a period during high-season here. Guanacaste does have nicer beaches than Jaco, but that's because Jaco/Hermosa are more for surfers. The key element in our choice for Jaco is because it has WAY more nightlife and night spots than Guanacaste does... As for it being 3rd world though....I don't find so at all. It's as close to a 1st-world country as a 3rd-world country can be :upsidedow |
I always like smaller shows better, and think more biz gets done there. But, I might be at both. If I have to chose, Costa Rica! :thumbsup

Plus I just think the internext show is going to be a cluster fuck with everything happening at the same time and the other to big shows stealing our thunder. Don't get me wrong its going to be a great big party but I never get any good biz done. I like the smaller personal shows.. Where I can bond and get to know people, at internext my head is spinning because there is just so many people and everyone running around with there heads cut off. Then people get upset casue you think your blowing them off etc. I like Quality small versus Quantity large :2 cents: I'm still not sure what to do |

What have you done for me lately.. :winkwink: its not you its me |
I don't think Ill be able to make costa.
|
vegas has way outpriced itself and I have been there far too many times to know that I can do as much business at any other show. Costa is awesome and definitely has its own character. If you want to relax and do some business then costa, if you want to tell all your friends about the pirate show then Vegas.
simple as that. |

The flip side is Costa Rica has a lot going for it and is more quality than quantity. There are some places within 30 mins - 90 mins of Jaco that I never knew existed on this planet - so amazing we ended up buying lumps of it! Vegas is Vegas and marketed well - it's hard to knock that. Plus the convenience factor for US and Canadian folks. The flip side is it appears to be overpriced these days when ya get the hotel bill, so that same money dumped on a flight to a tropical location might be more interesting. I'd put bets on that conferences are heading more to exotic locations than elsewhere - especially if they are not "formal" and where folks want to spend some quality time and have a piss up. |
