Ok i used to love to come to GFY and read all the shit people had to say... now the fucking banner ads popups and whatever the fuck else seems to just open is getting way annoying ... just figured i would say somthing because its getting to the point where people are gunna start not coming back because its like going to a fucking banner farm

I'm pretty sure he didn't get into biz to make a social club ... he's here to make money and provide a place that you can pimp your shit ... I'm sure he makes lots of money off GFY but I'm sure it's nothing compared to the amount of money everyone combined here makes off the board .. :2 cents:

Well said. I have to agree. The benefits far outweigh the negatives.

The Top Bucks one is annoying as fuck. Why couldn't they just make it so if I decided to click the fucking thing it would open .. Instead of the damn thing opening every time my mouse gets with in 5 inches of it..

I think people read into things the wrong way sometimes, maybe I'm wrong, but there's a lot of business that goes on here!

yes that's why most of us come here.. but do we really have to be assaulted with fucking flash ads every time we turn around.

I could give a shit about board skins and normal banners and so on.. However these POS flash ads piss just about everyone off.

How many posts have we seen about it? Countless.. These ads cause the companies advertising on GFY to lose ad impressions. Why? Simple, because more and more people are using Firefox to browse here so they can turn off the ads.

Personally I don't like Firefox, but it's about to the damn point with the fucking TB ad that I'll start using it and I'll block all flash ads.. So I'll be one more webmaster that won't be seeing the ads these companies are paying all this advertising money for.

Does that sould like it's good for the advertisers? I just wonder if they did a poll, how many webmasters are using Firefox and blocking all these fucks banners.

The TB ad dosnt show in FF anyway - I didnt have to turn off flash. I still see the top flash banners. GFY has it set to not show the banner to FF users.

Im guessing Lens uses FF and it was pissing him off as well - lol - joking!! (sort of)
