ANd yes., you should try them before you shave your head. You will loose your hair eventually even with the meds, so why not just hold on to it as long as you can and then shave it off? Its not like they are expensive anyways..

the sooner you get on propecia, the morel likely you are to keep your hair. Some people have side effects on it, some dont. Its worth a shot. Same with avodart. Ive seen people who have been on propecia for like 7 years and have held on to their hair..others havent. depends how well it works for you.

every other product will do little or close to nothing. Theres a ton of snake oils out there, and bs u see on the shopping channel. None are fda aprooved, and are basically a scam. The pills is what works..

just get a hair transplant.. They just take a strip of it from the back and put the new follicles that arent programmed to fall out in the balding areas. It's you real growing hair..

only problem is that you'll never be able to shave your hair or cut it really short where the donor area is because no hair will grow where they took it from..
or many I am wrong about that?

I've been using propecia for a year now and it worked great for me. If you start using it early enough it works great. Basically stops you from losing MORE hair at least. Combining with minoxidil will grow back more, but minoxidil is a pain in the ass.

Some dudes can pull off shaving their head... others (me) look retarded :)

I have no side effects from the Propecia.
