well, if it was silver, then it's a blessing... most old silver fillings had mercury in them..

Go see a dentist right away. I ignored mine (I didn't realize I'd lost the filling) and eventually lost the molar it came out of. :(

BV 11-13-2005 11:15 PM

pour some ice cold water on it and then some hot hot water, see if you feel anything to see if the nerve is still ok

LiveDose 11-13-2005 11:16 PM

Damn that sucks. Get that checked asap.

Don't tell me that, that's what i'm scared of. I don't want to turn into one of the residense here in East Mesa.....

i gotta get out of here.

Biggy2 11-13-2005 11:20 PM

be careful..

i had a filling fall out, didnt even realize, until 3 months later when a root canal formed, infected the tooth, and blew up half my head. Worst dental experience. Ever. A lot worst than losing the filling, i'd call your dentist up tomorrow, and get it re-filled.

yeah i was sucking on an iced soda and it didn't hurt but it was sensitive. all this time i've been looking into those contact lens sized caps you can have put on your teeth to make them perfect.

i really don't want to loose a tooth....please i don't want to loose a tooth

i have a front tooth with a root canal and a cap (was knocked out by a bed post), i'm lucky my parents put money into my teeth when i was younger and i feel bad about not keeping them nice.....

dready 11-13-2005 11:25 PM

I had the very same thing happening so I'd suggest that you see a dentist without delay.

adultchica 11-13-2005 11:33 PM

does anyone know a good dentist in the Eastern Phoenix/scottsdale area? I just moved here.

Brent_Moe 11-14-2005 02:36 AM

How much did you pay for that? Mine has been here for almost five years now and it' still working pretty well.

i have no idea, it's over 20 years old and i was too young to understand the value of dental work.

just glad i did it while flossing, it could have cracked a tooth and i would have been really pissed and i'm sure i'd be in alot of pain.

Doctor Dre 11-14-2005 05:26 PM

Silver fillings are pretty bad IMO ... just go get a new one ;)

You have to get them fixed every X years btw...

expensive but his equipment is state of the art
very nice private office. not one of those dental groups with 80 people jammed in the waiting room
but he's located in south chandler
alma school & chandler heights i think
he's really good. amazing really.
and dont fret, you'll get a new prettier filling that matches your tooth.

EroticySteve 11-16-2005 08:13 AM

As I need to get my fillings redone I'm going to get the white ones too.

Going to the dentist is very important, it's easy to neglect but temporary discomfort goes a long way.

Tom_PM 11-16-2005 08:26 AM

Go to a drug store or grocery and get some temporary filling material unless you can get into your dentist right away.

J-$ 11-16-2005 08:35 AM

just wait til you lose the tooth then replace with gold or platinum/diamond tooth . its a good excuse :upsidedow

sickkittens 11-16-2005 08:37 AM

Does it smell good?

je_rome 11-17-2005 06:48 PM

one bodypain I can never stand is toothache. heave it checked, man. I'm sure you wouldn't want that kind of pain that sort of drills your brain
