Good to see the improvements....hand it to those fuckers over at Airbus...aren't they fucking french?

Validus 11-16-2005 01:04 AM

It will be interesting to see how much a re-work of the 747 will bring considering that the A380 designed new from ground up. I am no pro. just my thought.

camouflaged123 11-16-2005 01:10 AM

Amazing to think that the 747 has been around longer than most people who post here. Amazing design for its time.

no kidding

the only reason why the 747 would ever be replaced by the Airbus is because of the extra costs involved with a 4 engine design

They flew this plane over at Seafair this year in Seattle. They did a low flight right over Lake Washington. Let me tell you, this plane is ENOURMOUS. It seriously blacked out the sky as it came over Seward Park. Pretty dope.

Vitasoy 11-16-2005 06:54 AM

Looks beautiful, wave of the future :D

tranza 11-16-2005 07:05 AM

d00t 11-16-2005 09:03 AM

you can spot the sig whores here... this "new" 747 is only 5m (15 feet) longer than the existing 747s.

There is no new technology here and the airbus a340 is much much longer and has been around for years.

loverboy 11-16-2005 09:54 AM
