Restoring a large mysql database without ssh
 

I cannot log into SSH and need to restore a large mysql database (500mb). I uploaded it to the public_html/ directory of the website I need it put on, is there another quick way to do this via WHM?

phpmyadmin i would think....but 500mb is insane...so that might not work

damn, now that you mention it, phpmyadmin shoud have a "local server file" option

yah its a bit to big but where is the option for local server file?

What Jace said (phpmyadmin), and do it in smaller chunks if you can break it up. That or contact your host and ship it to them on a CD and let them do it for you.

I'll just wait for tech support to reply on how to access ssh. It's just the sooner or the better. Doing it in chunks in an option but will probably freeze my computer a couple dozen times.

phpMyAdmin will fail due to size (unless you alter settings).
webmin has a local file option.
