Depeche Mode is touring right now. Has anyone seen them this time around yet? I am going to see them Saturday and wanted to know how thier show was. :thumbsup

I'll be seeing them in december. It'll definitely be excellent, Anton Corbijn designs the show as usual, and DM are fuckin immense live.

They cancelled their first show of the tour here in Ft Lauderdale.

Bummed me the fuck out.

Damn that must suck, I still never had a show cancelled on me to this day.

I'm seeing them on the UK tour in March. I got tickets 2 & 3, which means there's a very dedicated, very lonely DM fan out there.

i've seen them once in Istanbul and it was great. Especially Andrew Fletcher while singing Home. Wish i could see again.

Cool! Thanks for that. I have been a Depeche Mode fan forever and have been lucky enough to see them 3 times already. I like a couple songs on their new CD but I like their older stuff better. Regardless they always put on a great show. I will report back on Monday and let you all know how it was. :thumbsup

I like what I have heard off of the new CD. I haven't bought it yet, but what they've played on the local stations sounds good.

In any case, the whole second half of the show is packed with gems featuring vintage Depeche Mode, so I am quite positive anyone who goes will be in a happy place.

All I have to hear is the first few ethereal notes of "Never Let Me Down Again" and I approach musical nirvana...I've seen DM a half dozen times, and they never let me down...

'Never let me down again' is my favourite of theirs too.

The new CD's good - much more consistant then the last couple, and really grows on you after a few listens - not a classic yet though.

I really like It's no good. It would make my night if they were to play that one.

I'd like to go here in Los Angeles on Monday or Tuesday, but both events are sold out :/

Heard a glowing review of the Florida show from a musician friend

LOL what are you talking about. People are saying that you should judge something based on what YOU have experienced. It's pretty stupid to judge something based one what other's think. If you have a brain use it and make your own judgements, that goes with anything and not just a CD LOL.

damn I still remember the times when I used to dress up and style my hair like Dave Gahanback in college. I like Everthing Counts, Strange Love, Policy of Truth, But Not Tonight, and Never Let Me Down Again.

I saw them last week, November 9.

Show was kick ass but unfortunately we were not on the floor. Still, $75 tickets though. They did about 6 songs from their new album, played a slew of kick ass songs.

Personal Jesus, Behind The Week, Just a Matter of Time, I feel You, etc etc. It was a great great show. Definitely buy the better tickets if you can. If you want any more details feel free to ICQ me! :) :thumbsup

I am not on the floor (as short as I am that is a blessing) BUT I am on the balcony near the stage. This show sold out in a day so I am lucky to have the seats I have. Whoo Hoo
