Video Ipod Test (VIDEO)
 

I need someone that owns a Video Ipod to test a file for me. Please try and load this video onto your Ipod, and let me know if it plays ok. I've read that sometimes the videos will play in Itunes, but won't load onto the Ipod. Want to make sure I've got the settings right before encoding tons of videos.

BTW-I know about the export to Ipod setting, but I'm trying to do raw DV video and it comes out at 320x213 instead of the needed 320x240. That's why I'm trying the settings I used above.

It should be a perfect match for video Ipod.... just want to make sure it works since I can't personally test it. As you can see I do a pretty damn good job editing video myself.

DOn't feel bad tho, we had a bitch of a time getting the settings right in Vegas Video to export ours to work, and STILL ended up exporting to MP4, then using QT7 pro to make it IPod happy..

Also the QT7 pro profile "Export to Ipod" doesnt' work for us, we had to use the export to MPEG-4 profile for it to work, which output an .mp4 file which works perfectly

what encoding software are you using for this?

Thanks BB-Rick. I did it to the H.264 video. I'll try MPEG-4 instead.
