What was your first car?
 

I didn't really need a car before but now it's getting necessary so what would you suggest as a first car? i don't want to spend too much on it.

Ummm, what kind of cars do you like. That would make the most sense. :winkwink:

I don't really have an specific type, just looking around to check what's good.

BMW 3 is nice.

Mine was a honda.

it was a Pontiac somthing, i forget. it was a piece of shit lol i bought it for $500 from workin at Taco Bell, 3 days later, the sunroof started to leak, then the car overheated and broke down lol (and i just bought new tires for it too :( )

83 Toyota Corrola. Bought for $100, sold 3 months later for $400 :)

hahaha, that sounds like an experience to remember. For $500 i don't think you can find a car here, with all the fucking taxes the minimum will be around $1000.

If you are looking for a reliable used car go with something Japanese..Toyota or Honda are probably your best bet.

if you are looking for something just to get you around, i would reccomend a honda.

they are reliable cars, and most of them are pretty economical on gas.

91 white Ford Escort ... got it in 2000 when I was broke and in college. Holy shit was it a hunk, but it got me around. Bought it at a police auction for $1200 and had 100k+ miles on it. Had no AC (in Tucson, AZ) and no power stearing.

It was horrible, but so much fun at the same time. There is nothing like having a piece of shit car that you can smash, hit, do whatever you want to it.

Well that one looks pretty nice and in good conditions but anyways here (Costa Rica) all the cars are more expensive due to all the taxes.

Get a toyota if its just for everyday driving you cant beat the reliability.

My first car was a 1979 Honda Civic; I seized up the engine somehow. Was a cool little Rally car for the logging roads.
