Working for other companies we had everything from death threats, to threats of being injected with hiv, but never anyone at the door.

Anyone here had a surfer with a mental problem show up at their office? :pimp

this same crazy guy keeps showing up at my office, looks just like me, same hair, same height, looks like the same weight also! wait a sec that IS me. :mad:

Nope, but I know a program owner that that wanted to show up at a customers door when he Charged Back 6 months of rebills - happened to live right down the street from him.....


Didn't want to hurt him or anything stupid, but it would have been funny to have his wife answer the door, and have the program owner do a "customer satisfaction survey".....

haha.. pretty funny. I worked with a company that did some spyware type stuff. They would get threats like crazy. I'm surprised no one ever came to the office and opened up fire on everyone. There were some pretty threatening emails. People would threaten families etc.

i also have my studio set up in your moms basement.

I have had customers show up at the office when were pissed off and we had to chill them out... not a big deal.

Worst was a ex-boyfriend of a girl at the office that came in wanting to physically assualt her after she dumped him on the phone. Luckily for her, he pulled that shit on a day when the NOC crew was there and he was held until the police came and hauled him out.

Next day we had a keypad lock installed to prevent unauthorized access......

yea i havn't had one in years...but back in the day with larger companies, handling customer support..the things said were truly chilling :1orglaugh

When I started working for CCBill back in the day, one of the first impressions I had was of this very non-descript, no signage, barely a posted address, office building, with magnetic entry via access IDs.

I wondered what the fuck I was getting into...

no but we got a crazy nigrish lady with yellowish red eyes come in and ask what we do any why there is a ferrari outside and if we are hiring...

not going into too much detail but about 3 or 4 years ago a bus full of crusading baptists made some rounds and protested places.

First.. establish how much actual cash he has on him.

Second... explain the website he joined is crap and the *real stuff* is on another site.

Third.. Membership is exclusive for the "real stuff" and only on an annual basis.

Fourth... Deal for an annual membership that "normally" costs $500 and discount this to him for $200.

Fifth.. Let him know that under no circumstances is he getting any refund on this - you have already done him an enormous favor even letting him join for just $200.

Sixth.. Tell him ya gotta rush - there are queues of other unhappy guys knocking on the door and waiting to be conned.. sorry, served.
