What is the benefit of DVD over seperate scenes?
 

We are running scenes that have been sold on DVD, both our stuff and content shot entirely for the DVD market.

All rendered to web formats so they can be easily used.

But now it seemd everyone wants to buy a DVD and do it themselves.

The DVD is compressed so rendering it will re compress it, plus all the labout involved.

What are the benefits?

I'm confused, buy a DVD and do what themselves?

Many seem to be buying the DVD so they can convert it themselves or the DVD is being converted for them by the supplier from a DVD.

The result will always be lower quality than converting from tape.

Bumping it because I need to know.

Anyone got any more to add?
