Photographers. Do you use a ringflash very often?
 

If you do use a ring flash is it for specific types of shots (like headshots) or do you use it for most of your shots?

When you use your ring flash do you also use other flashes/light sources or is it your only light?

Don't use it but have thought about getting one.

Seriously, if you are asking questions like this, stay away from a ringflash.
You really need to know what you are doing with lighting to use a ringflash.

If you have the ringlight too low all you are gonna get it redeye.

Best use a couple of V-flats with lights bouncing into them and then use a ring to pop the model from the background.
