Vikings Today?
At 2-7 the Packers know they are not going anywhere. Some of their players are probably already wondering what they're going to do for a living next year. At 4-5 the Vikings know they can still save their season, but it is important that they win this particular game. In fact, checking the rest of the Vikings' season indicates they could possibly end up 10-6 if they can get past this game. Traditionally, Green Bay has had one of the biggest home field advantages in the NFL, as high as 8 points in years past. Lately, however, that has not been the case. So far, they're 1-3 at home, even losing to the Browns. My mathematical formulas are predicting Minnesota will win this game outright, and by more than a touchdown. Note that the Vikings beat the Packers, 23-20, 4 weeks ago at Minnesota. That's not good for Minnesota bettors today. Home teams that lost on the road to divisional rivals tend to cover the spread in rematches. Nevertheless...
I'm taking Vikings +6 |
hmm bone not around these days?

Vikings are actually starting to play better but doesn't Favre play real well on Mondays (especially at home)?

I lived on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border for 32 years and I can assure you that this game is the most meaningfull for the Packers (and their fans) for the rest of the season regardless of either teams record. You're better off throwing your money in the garbage than putting it on the Vikings tonight.

Go Vikes!

will the spread go to 7 in the next 4 hours? I'm waiting.. keep pouring money on packers people (around 66% have done so far pushing the spread from 3.5 to 6.5)
