Wow, they even have drive through ATM's and mailboxes here...

Maybe common for Americans, for us(Dutchies) this is, WTF, a drive through CASH machine, and a drive through MAILBOX.

So funny, when we first drove through these. Also drive through donut stores etc. You can actually live in your car here, without getting out :)

Don't forget drive-thru pharmacies.

Oh, and the drive-in theater. They're hard to find these days, but they still exist. Have you been to one of those?

Traveled all over the US and decided to settle in Tucson? I would love to hear that story.

Car break down or something? :winkwink:

BIGTYMER 11-23-2005 05:30 PM

Gotta love it! :)

BIGTYMER 11-23-2005 05:31 PM

Whats wrong with Tucson? Great weather and we don't have to deal with cops like you do. I'm from Cali and I'll never go back there.

You must not be familiar with the LAPD.

Uhm?

For that year the State of Arizona had a total Crime Index of 5,829.5 reported incidents per 100,000 people.

For that year the State of California had a total Crime Index of 3,739.7 reported incidents per 100,000 people

Or do I read the stats wrong?

Cops, law enforcement, and laws in general are different throughout the country.

You're looking at the wrong areas.

Look at violent, murder, rape, robbery.

Princess Ellisa 11-23-2005 05:58 PM

Per 100k, respectively
Cali: 621.6, 6.1, 28.9, 177.9
Az: 531.7, 7.0, 30.7, 146.3

Relatively speaking, AZ has more murders and rapes :2 cents:

lol., actually since you're asking. I was on vacation here (in the US) and I lived in Brasil at the time for a job I was doing, then moved back to Holland and I decided to move else where. I had friends in L.A. so I figured I move there, I went online and went appartment hunting. I found one, the pics were great and the price not bad (paid my firs and last month etc online) When I arrived turns out my white ass lives in the middle of Inglewood.. haha.. Ok, long story short, my landlord (very cool guy) gave me my money back except for that months rent and I moved to Long Beach, I bought my first US car a cheapy and I started going on the road. I thought the US is big let's see what else is out there, I drove all the way to the East Coast and the more East I got the more it reminded me of Europe, so I went back west.

I made a stop on the I-10 in Tucson and stayed the night at a cheezy Motel6. The people in the room next to me were a bunch of guys that were from New Mexico or something and I ended up hanging out with them, we went downtown Tucson and I was in the middle of all the college hang outs. Tucson has the U of A with 30.000+ students (hearsay) and trust me I saw potential. I moved here and I am still here, lots of girls to shoot and the cost of living is nothing compared to Long Beach. The weather is great and I am having a blast. We even have plenty of beach ( I won't mention that the ocean is missing).

I have shot a lot of girls that are now really out there for the first time ie Tiana Lynn, Lain Oi, Extreme Holly's first Boy/Girl, one of the first of Deja Daire and Erin Moore to name a few. I am in a good spot.

Sorry if it's boring for some of you but since a fellow Dutch man asked.

BTW, if you didn't check out our new site to promote then maybe now is the time, mad conversions in the first week. :thumbsup
