Your NATS v3 Wishlist?

We're almost done with our internal NATS v3 improvment list and we're looking for more to add. We need to know now as we need to have the update done by mid-December for release in Veags (come visit us at booth #315 and see all the improvements first hand!).

Let's hear what you would like to see in NATS v3.

Please keep it constructive and keep the sarcastic BS to yourself.

gideongallery 11-25-2005 12:11 PM

campaign tracking thru the entire billing process (rebills not just original signups)
better gallery to signup tracking (so you can see which galleries generate signups and which do not)
export of data (stats) via xml (or csv) so it could be easily imported into account/spreedsheets
better programing api so we could write custom modules that take advantage of stats

Buddy 11-25-2005 12:13 PM

I'd appreciate a "blow job from a hot chick" module, for those late nights at the office. :2 cents:

:thumbsup

They have :thumbsup

ss821z 11-25-2005 12:15 PM

Export FULL stats via XML or CSV.

TMM_John 11-25-2005 12:19 PM

Thanks everyone :)

Better Gallery sales tracking (and other sales tracking stuff) is already in the mix.

Rebills & such are currently tracked via campaigns already, just the templates aren't setup for it. We're introducing an entirely new templating system and a new "default" set of templates which affiliates will still be able to revert to if they program wants to allow them to. Those who have seen our CARMA templating system have seen a preview of the system and should be very excited about it coming to NATS :)

I like the XML/CSV dump idea. Will go over that with Fabian. I think it's a great feature to add.

Pete-KT 11-25-2005 12:22 PM

Very nice, Can't wait for the new release guys.

leedsfan 11-25-2005 12:24 PM

yep, we love NATS. been using it for 2 months, and it rocks. Looking forward to the updates.

Dalai lama 11-25-2005 12:27 PM

I had some suggestions.

allow us to make pages like hosted pages such as tgps/404. so we link the affiliate to page.com/track/id and all the paysite links show up as /track/id

This would be a handy tool.

You already can. Check the knowledgebase for "strack"...

studiocritic 11-25-2005 12:46 PM

Easier-to-configure shave settings, this is getting tedious.
-anonymous sponsor

:1orglaugh

Tat2Jr 11-25-2005 04:09 PM

Can't wait for the changes. I'd like to see daily pics, and daily rotated FHGs added. Plus a "random" tour link for our sites with multiple tours would be awesome.

As for wishlist wow i got some requests ;)

devilspost 11-25-2005 04:34 PM

how about one signup to all the nats sponsors. then dump all the galleries to a 1 file. also a tgp plugin thing like Perfect Gonzo and Fetish Hits has

shermo 11-25-2005 04:38 PM

Listing of referred affiliates. I'd like to be able to keep an eye on affiliates referred in order to help them with campaigns, etc.

Pic/Movie Of The Day Option

The Ability to Add Single Templates to multiple tours. It's pretty time consuming to create a hosted gallery template, add content sets for each one, and create 6 different pages with URL's that need to be added 6 times. The 30 new Galleries that were just created is now 180 that need to be added.

An entire new tour system is on the way :)

Keep the ideas coming everyone!

Michael O 11-25-2005 05:00 PM

Better webmaster referral stats.
Per webmaster break down so its possible to see how many are active.
The possibility to see how may signups a webmaster is missing before the flat fee is paid.

mortenb 11-25-2005 06:07 PM

The only thing I want from you guys is that you make some sort of payment processing system.. So that we can promote all the NATS sponsors we want to and only recieve one check for the entire amount we made using all the NATS sponsors.. But that is not a NATS feature as such.. It is just me dreaming.. :-)

Other than that you are perfect.. I love your system..

Will the new tour system be able to compensate the current one i use?

If i recall correctly, it was me and mark tiarra who pushed for a multi tour system back in jan 2004. You guys made it happen. I just hope i can implement it with my current system without affiliates changing links. If so, that would be awesome.
Also, a suggestion, having cloaked links go to the actual tour and have the link cookied for affiliates. for example http://tour1.facialabuse.com goes to duke dollars which is a complete traffic leak. It needs the /track/ and a cookie for it to get to the right tour. So many surfers hate long urls. this will be a big advantage for nats programs if this were implemented.
I knew I had some more kick ass suggestions, just cant recall them at the moment.
So many of them are either in there or will be. I cant wait :)
Duke

Machete_ 11-25-2005 06:09 PM

Multiple site partners
"Read only" or "view stats" access we can use for workers or partners

spacedog 11-25-2005 06:13 PM

I'm not sure how to put this, but i'd like a way to track clicks out of the sponsor.

Lets say surfer clicks link to sponsor, checks out tour to sponsors site we'll call fuckingconvertsforshit.com & surfer decides they dont want to join & gets a console advertising adultfriendfinder, so he joins adultfriend finder. I want to know how many upsells the sponsor is getting off of traffic I sent.

Matt_WildCash 11-25-2005 06:47 PM

Hey John

Can't wait for V3 gonna be good.

Suggestions for other improvments

1. Better Rewards store interface, right now its kind of manual or requires emails to NATS, needs to have ability to adjust points per sale in the interface. And have bonus days setting just like PPS.

2. Rewards store bonus days, ie send 4 sales on this day get 4000 points. Send 8 sales get 10,000 points.

3. Ability to do bonus days start & end dates on certain sites. For instance : program launches 8 new sites and offers them at $50 PPS on the first 4 weeks to affilates then it reverts to normal.

Cheers

Matt

sonofsam 11-25-2005 06:49 PM

Suggestions:

1.) Make it so you can add a partner for a certain site, and give him only access to THAT sites stats

2.) A gallery exporting tool, into a text file or box or something, for tgp people to grab mass linking codes

Jay_StandAhead 11-25-2005 06:50 PM

Multiple Site partners

and this one is easy and required (it was posted as a ticket, then a feature request on June 6th, and again on nov 8, and still nothing): support for 1click mailers. In v2 you added the filter for sending mailers to members of a specific biller (a feature I had requested before) but you forgot to add a variable for "member_id", rendering that feature practically useless.

here's what boris said about this:

The variable is {$memberidx}. It includes both short name of the biller and the subscription id. For ecxample: EPOCH:123456789.

so you see all you need to do is drop "epoch:" and it'll work

ss821z 11-25-2005 06:51 PM

Everytime content/FHGs are added to the system, a notice e-mail is sent to all affiliates or done once in weekly.

ss821z 11-25-2005 06:52 PM

Full payout history like ExecutiveStats.

I'd also like to see this...

and you know the other feature i'd like to see... but that's coming out sometime next year per our discussion.

Btw guys.. NATS ROCKS OKAY?

Why 11-25-2005 08:53 PM

admin_billers.php?subaction=edit&biller=1
when editting paycom, this shows up: "Master Passwrod: (optional)"
spelling error, should be password.

members admin.
no way to remove/edit usernames to membership sites that i created.

i think there might be a smarty function you can use to split them at the : and use one part. if you dont want to wait for it.

i do believe this template is already in nats, its just not linked to in the original templates so maybe fewer programs use it? i dunno.

ss821z 11-25-2005 09:01 PM

A full support ticket system for affiliates to use for support queries.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-25-2005 09:02 PM

How about a filing for Bankruptcy?
I would like to see that on NATS.

I'm using an alternate way right now so I can mail, but it certainly should be a standard feature on NATS.

emthree 11-25-2005 09:36 PM

Detailed everything.

Brad Mitchell 11-25-2005 10:26 PM

NATS needs PixieDust technology. Yeah!

Brad

Theo 11-25-2005 10:41 PM

ability to rename/delete/group campaigns

BluMedia 11-25-2005 11:31 PM

A couple of things I would love to see are.....

1. Members that try to login that have cancelled or could not be rebilled most of the time don't realise why they can't login. It would be great to tell them the reason they can't login and when they try to login give them a message that their membership could not be rebilled etc and send them to the join page to signup again.

2. Admin sections has tons of graphs everywhere but how about the webmasters? Let's put some graphs in there to show ratios, signup etc.

3. Ability to display users username and password in the members section and the ability for the member to retrieve and maybe even change their login.

4. Alot of sites now have bonus sites it would be great to somehow have the system so it could reconize the member so they could just access all of the site without having to log in to each of them.

5. Seperate templates for members that cancel, could not be rebilled and members that just filled out the join form but didn't complete it.

6. Admin and webmaster stats via cell phones.

I can't wait until version 3, damn did you guys just have 2 updates this year? You guys rock. :)

Mark

Nathan 11-26-2005 02:54 AM

Great ideas everyone.. keep them coming please.

Many of the things mentioned above are already being worked on or are done in the current v3 beta. Its certainly looking great.

A few things from the stuff above that is done or being finished right now:
- Unlimited Site Partners
- All new design for the affiliate pages. Our new template system allows for multiple skins also, so you can offer your affiliates different stats setups, or different designs or different languages whatever you really can think of.
- Updated payments system
- Updated tour system
- Full tour tracking
- Full advertisement tracking (mainly for hosted galleries of course, but also for banners if you want)
- Better Webmaster Referral System
- and much much more

Some of the ideas posted above also work already now or work in connection with another app of ours like SPARTA.

WarChild 11-26-2005 02:56 AM

Easy integration of the required infrastructure to run fake tgps with all hosted galleries giving affiliates full credit.

one of the reason to have a programable api interface for nats data, you could pull id codes/data
you could even do cool things like showcase the highest converting galleries, rotate the most clicked thumb from that gallery etc.
and with an open interface you wouldn't have to wait for NATs to do it for you
there would be a plugin marketplace (imagine the increase sales comus would get if they release a plugin that allowed best converting galleries as a sort feature)

Now you're cooking with gas. :thumbsup

Nathan 11-26-2005 04:06 AM

gideon, we are looking into a more detailed API system, but we have to be careful to not make it too open for people to build their own stats and allow things we would not want. It has a lot of pros and cons to it, but we do agree that the better the API, the better other programmers can add features to it and the more valuable NATS will be.

Greg MissionD 11-26-2005 04:11 AM

1) When using the mailing options that you can set a different senders address, rather than the main one that is set in nats for every mailing that we do.

2) It would also be great if we could cascade when ccbill give a hard denial, as when this is given everything just stops and the surfer is not offered another billing option.

3) To be able to add more than one site partner

Trax 11-26-2005 04:21 AM

show active amounts of rebills

Why 11-26-2005 04:38 AM

easier ability to link blocked accounts in sparta to thier reseller, etc. rather then having to click on them all to gather such info.

Go cry about not being nominated for an xbiz award. BTW, the program you advertise in your sig USES NATS. Grow up and maybe one day you'll actuall achieve something in this business. And I don't to hear about your designs, they're horrible.

Professional! :2 cents:

There's a lot of us on the board who are real business people, and have to take childish actions into consideration when shopping for a paysite solution. Might want to keep that in mind if you care about new business.

Think whatever you'd like. Most people here know me and know how I handle things. I've given up with Alienq. He's a child, he's has mental issues, he goes around to threads posting things such as he has. He's nearly to the point of a stalker. He's unstable and unimaginably unprofessional. He gets a bit of that in return. It's what he deserves.
