How long before your girl moved in?
 

I've been with my girl for 8mths and she's a good girl. I told her, I'd like to wait for another yr, then she can move in.

Just curious

Like 3 days. Been with her 5+ years now.

lol.. a year from now is a long time when you are young. You either will have no relationship by then or it will be the same as it is today... so why wait, its either right or its not.

no shit.. I had one such experience a long time ago. Was convinced to move to shitty ass Florida from the wonderful city of Austin, I sell my house, pack my shit and on the way to Florida..dude says..

"well, I don't think I am ready for you to move in (he must have been on a crack binge)"

so I kept on driving right past his town and ended up on the beach from a town I picked out on the map..and that is where I stayed for the next 7 years and met my husband.

He called my parents and wanted to know why I never showed up?...doh!

It was 2 years before we moved in together.

Napolean moved in after about 6 months but it would have been much sooner if it was up to him :1orglaugh

welll technically she started sleeping at my place 4-5 times a week right away

then after about 4 months i dont recall her leaving..lol

my last girl friend started to live at my house after like 3 month we were togther.

We waited 3 months. She was 16, and I was 17. We've been together 13 years now.

My friend have been 3 years with his GF and she still haven't moved in (she only comes on weekends... that's the deal). Nothing wrong with that... it keep them wanting to see each other.

i would say a year is good enough, then you know if youare ready and willing to take it to the next level

I knew her for over a year but she moved in like 3 weeks after we were together. Then a month and a half later after she moved in we went off to Tennessee and got married. Been married over 4 and half years now and have 2 kids. She moved in with me a month before she graduated high school.

We were together about 3 months when he officially moved in. I know that's really quick but we've been together almost 7 years and married 5 years on Christmas Eve

You'll know when it's right. You get that feeling.

I'd let my girlfriend move to my place, but my mommy and daddy won't let us sleep in the same bed :( And I don't like the idea of her sleeping in the top bunk.

I don't think there is a good time for everybody, every relationship is different only you would know when is the right time ;)

She moved in shortly after we started dating and has been hanging around here for 25+ years.... When we cuddle, everything fits just right.

We date for 2.5 years before I moved in with her.

6 years. But that was a long-distance releationship, which always suck.

I'd say 1.5 years for most relationships... then you're not kidding around. You're looking at things long-term by then. When you start thinking beyond "what's up for next week" to "what's up for when I hit age 70 with this person", you're ready for a next step. IMO.

Don't rush it.
