First pics with new camera

Gotta love that Canon 20D, very fast camera, I just have to learn to use it better now :)
Here are some of the first pics I took with it tonight, I know its not anywhere close to what some of you all can take. They were both taken just as it started getting dark and with lots of dust in the air being kicked up with ISO at 100, I set ISP to 400 but they were kinda grainy.

Next time just run it on full auto, until you have had a chance to learn more about the camera and how to use the settings.

I tried it on auto, did not like the results.
taking pictures is how you learn - cannot learn by letting it sit in the case.

venus - use the tv mode - time value - that sets the shutter manually - set it no less than 125 - should help with the fuzzies - the camera will adjust aperture automatically

venus 12-01-2005 08:59 PM

thanks red, I will give that a shot
