This fuck just jacked my kids computer, FUCKIN KIDS COMPUTER, it pops open Adult Friend Finder links, and ads.

Real nice, heres the account id and link it forwards too.

This guy needs his shit shut down pronto. Its one thing to install shit on peoples comps but just randomly popping porn poppups on kids computers without a browser even open is fucked.

urls it was sending to to get spyware removal sales were securityindex.net and also to every link on that page (all his referal links)

Dirty cocksucker.

Turboface 12-04-2005 02:22 AM

I've gotten spyware before that has done some funky stuff with AFF on my system here. It removed the AFF affiliate page from my favorites and you know it probably didn't just do that. I'm sure that if they were doing that with my favorites, it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility there was more going on than that, such as altering or replacing AFF cookies.

I cleaned my system up, but still cannot keep the AFF affiliate page in my favorites. I have to type it in to go there directly still to this day.

:error

Dirty F 12-04-2005 02:34 AM

Im still stuck with spyware installed by someone promoting aff and many other programs. Its the nastiest spyware ive gotten ever i think. I cant get rid of it. Im pretty close to formatting my puter. I hardly can work on my laptop anymore. Everything fucking crashes every 15 mins. It drives me nuts. If i found out who did it im gonna kill him.

Aff must know who it is obviously but so far failed to give me any info.

First of all if you have any links post them and I will send it to them to investigate.

I don't care if Clickcash beats old ladies and makes small kids cry, WTF does that have to do with anything. Are you trying to say that because a sponsor I advertise does something that you say is bad means I can't talk about any other sponsors who accept spy ware.

Sorry, with that logic there would be very few people here that could say anything about anything.

If you have a beef with warez sites go make a thread and posts links.

ztik 03-11-2007 02:42 PM

You guys have a phone number for the person I should report this type of shit too? I remove spyware from peoples comps all day and it almost always has AFF popups on it

And no that isn't my logic behind making the statement I did. I don't have "beef" with anyone pretty much I'm just stating the obvious. I don't have to post any links. Just go run a query at any search engine for warez, 0-day, full scene, et cetera and you will find them promoting clickcash.

And I like what you're doing man but you have to realize that the more you do it the more publicity it generates for aff...and I'm sure you know (you are in the marketing business, right?) that any publicity is good publicity. They may lose a lot of moral webmasters but they will gain more bad ones (which is what they want obviously).

Nookster 03-11-2007 02:51 PM

And to be fair, almost all of them are promoting aff as well. :disgust

AFF is not going to do anything about it, they are being forced by sexsearch to use scumware:winkwink:

The FTC would be a good place to start since they just fined zango and they seem to stay on top of these things, although I don't think are really do enough about it.

Also please share ALL your info here with us. Everytime you find a spyware infected computer let us know what spyware it is and what sponsors are using it and that would be a BIG HELP.

Thanks!

If it is that easy than please do what you said and give me some links and I will pass it along to them.

you said ' will, you know clickcash aren't that clean themselves. explain why they accept warez traffic! "

sorry I am not clickcash. If this is true give me details and I will pass it along to the proper people. I can't explain it, sorry. Regardless I am still going to post about affiliate programs that use spyware. It just so happens that AFF is the biggest from what I can tell and every time I see something about spyware their names pop up.

BTW, i never believed that all publicity is good publicty. I think that is a retarded saying.

Like if a burger joint has meat infected with mad cow disease and it kills people and it is all over the news I am sure their sales go up up up!!

So, someone needs to actually report it to them so they can do something about it?? Shouldn't they be watching out for their own asses?? I will not post warez related links for my own moral reasons (I am a software developer) so they can go ahead and do it themselves. If they don't go and deny the traffic from these sites it just makes them look bad for accepting it. It's not like they don't know where their traffic is coming from.

About the saying: you shouldn't take it so literally. Obviously it only applies to certain situations.

again not true. Who is going to start promoting a company that you know uses scumware? Why would you. Oh I heard XYZ uses scumware, we should try t hem out :upsidedow I could see if you were trying to say, well people promoting spyware could signup and now promote AFF because they accept that traffic. Everything we have seen from the Zango situation tells us that it was 100% AFF using zango and not their affiliates, so this logic doesn't apply here either.

I fail to see how there is any possibilty of letting people know this actually helps them in anyway. than lets pretend a few people do signup because they like scumware or whatever, do you think the good out weights the bad. I would have to think more people drop it than ever could want to promote it.... it doesn't make sense.

Jesus man use your brain.
The people who run illegal sites and servers will obviously rather join a program that turns a blind eye to their activities than one that will can them for their activities. You don't think these guys read gfy or what??

for one, find me one shaddy site that doesn't already use AFF. I don't think this is breaking news to the underground. This is news for a lot of honest affiliates. two, like i said at least in the zango situation it appeared AFF would not let their affiliates do it, they were the only ones. three, if shady people want to promote them, so be it. How does that affect me one way or the other which company they are using to hijack my traffic, It is not like someone says, lets go create a spyware program because we heard will76 say that AFF accepts that traffic.

Let all they shaddy fucks flock to AFF, i hope it brings them a lot of heat and they get held accountable for it sooner rather than later since more and more shady people use them. Which I doubt i caused to happen, but if it did, so be it for all the reasons stated above.

So i guess your suggestion is for me to say nothing on GFY because shady people might see it ?

:1orglaugh umm, yes, sometimes something has to be reported for people to know about it. I don't expect any sponsors to know everything the second it happens.

ICQ me the links.

Well, really there is nothing you can do about the companies who accept that type of traffic except to maybe make one or two threads informing people of the crooked sponsor or affiliates.

Here's a better idea though. Make a website which lists the shady companies, their practices and whatnot. Post one update to boards when you find a new one and leave it at that. Have honest webmasters link to it from their resource pages or whatever to get the word out about it, and that's that. Don't go on wasting your time by blowing shit up on the boards.

I for one would most definitely link the above said site on all of my sites just because bringing attention to it will help us honest webmasters as a whole.

that is a good idea, but wouldn't you still have the same problem. You were telling me that posting a lot here is not good because it is generating business for AFF, if i linked to a site that had the info on it the same shaddy people could use that site as a " who to signup to" list.

I don't think there is anyway to avoid that but at the same time I don't think it really is an issue anyway.

some people build sites, some people write letters all day to ftc, gov, programmers can try to make code to prevent spyware, etc.. I think my niche is blasting the boards and keeping it fresh on everyone's mind. Everyone servers a purpose.
