CDN Dollar hits 14 year high :(
|
I keep waiting for a stronger US dollar as my cheques (or for you Americans "checks") keep getting smaller ... not very good news, unless I'm traveling to the US or buying something online :(
|
I just hope $ would stabilize again by next year..
|
same here. bad news
|
We have another couple of years of the "bush revolution" to live through before anyone is going to be interested in investing in the US and buying the US currency. Until then, IMHO, things are not going to get much better... sadly.

china fucked the us, by stopping to lend them 2 billion a day. Dont blame them, no way they'll ever pay them back. Kinda like the US used to lend to south american and african countries.
I wonder how long before the canadian dollar is worth more than the US dollar? Want to take bets now? I say 9 months. We just discovered huge limestone deposits that will create huge wealth in canada. Not to mentiion that canada is now the 4th largest holder of oil in the world, now that they can make money on the oil pits in alberta. Bad news for the rest of canada is that with alberta being dug up we have to put up with displaced albertans. haha |

http://www.eurotrib.com/files/3/0512..._1991_2005.gif In a nutshell: Clinton years, more GDP growth than debt accumulated indicating real growth. Economic expansion and times o' plenty. Remember the 90s? Bush years, and we're talking the exact same year bush gets in, debt outstrips growth and hasn't gone into the positive side since. GDP gains look marvellous but gains are debt-fueled and any real growth is subsumed by the debt. And the real kicker? Median household income in Canada is ~$56k/year. The median household income in the US is ~$44k/year, which is ~$51.5k/year canadian. How messed up is that? |
Another cut in the paycheck :(
Oh well, I guess gotta work harder to make up for the lost % |
mother fucker!
