Back from Mexico!
 

What a fucked up trip. I was trying to get some spring break vacation and photo shoots in and as soon as I steped off the plane, the entire Mexico Posse surrounds me and throws me in the slammer.

I did not do a fucking thing to deserve this but sometimes it does not matter if you are guilty or not. This was the case this time as well. I will admit that I do have a shaky history with the government of that country but that is no reason to lock me up when I went there to shoot some models and promote their "wonderful" country.

As it turns out, the government of Mexico had received information, from an unreliable resource, that I was not trustworthy. A few "un-official" meetings were held between myself and the higher members of the government and messages were relayed back and forth until my case was proven at which time I was released.

Unfortunately, by the time things were back to normal, my vacation time was past and I had to return home without any real relaxation or any new photo sets. My photo equipment is still held up in customs. :(

ANYWAY...It is nice to be back although the shocking news of Boneprone?s death does not sit well with me, I will fill his place as Godfather of the Boneprone Family as he had previously directed.

They will get over it. I think I am gonna turn that same offer over to Montreal, QC and see what they have to say.

When I was pledging my fraternity we all went down to Mexico - we got detained in a Mexican jail in Boisetown - and after lots of bullshit they made us each pay $20, confiscated 1 throw away camera (but didn't even bother to search my backpack, which jad a polaroid camera in it), then let us go.

do you have a criminal record? ...they probably suspected you were going to shoot ilegal content. A couple of weeks ago a german photographer was arrested after being found with 3 films of CP.

I'm sorry to hear it ruined your vacation and gave you a bad impression of the country, yet you have to understand they were trying to do their job.. something they're not good at, I must say.

NA, no criminal record for me... It is all politics with them and I refuse to play the game. I am a friggin US citizen with a valid passport who has done nothing wrong.

Damn customs called tonight. It seems that they have not been able to log into my laptop to view it's contents. They made me give them my username and password so they could check my files for god knows what. Fucking bastards! I hope they do not plant anything there. God knows they will already find shitloads of my images. There are about 18,000 pics that I have taken that are on that machine. I better not see a new content site launched with all my shit.
