Penalized for having S.E. and TGP pages on the same IP/Server?
Hello...
Do Search Engines like Google and MSN penalize your S.E. Optimized pages (lower rankings) if you have alot of tgp/mgp pages on the same I.P./Server? Thank you. |
Do you mean like chameleon generated pages?
|
yes, if they are very similar in content, i wont define 'very'.
|
very good question, i have se page on a domain i do some tgp submission with subimtter so there is a lot of duplicated page and there is no problem so far
but i dont use it much for submission, maybe if you are a harcore submitter it could be a problem. |
Anyone...Anyone... ?

Depends on many things. Your link structure etc...
If you have multiple sites and want the SE's to treat them as totally diffierent pages interlinked...you'll need sepperate IP's for starters...and perhaps different Class C's If you're at the point where you dont about this though it probably wont do you much good to have multiple ip's/class c's :winkwink: I would first do some reading. And then start out with a dedicated server with 10 ip's or something. But without knowing exactly what you're attempting to do its tough to say |
If you are interlinking sites that are on the same class c, much less the same IP, and they are the same theme Google is going to frown on that.
