NEW YORK - John Lennon fans tried to imagine what might have been.

On the 25th anniversary of his murder, fans brought flowers, candles and their own bittersweet memories Thursday as they gathered in Central Park?s Strawberry Fields ? and in the former Beatle?s hometown of Liverpool, England.

ironic how all the figures in history that said "live in peace and love one another" are all dead. fuckin sad.

man im gunna have to spin a tune or two in memory today....

Yep, I would have loved to hung out with those guys while they were making the white album. (or any album for that matter) RIP Lennon.

btw, does anyone have the picture of him signing the autograph for Mark David Chapman 6 hours before he killed him?

He's a great singer and one of my father's fav :)
