how to find my host file?

looks like my laptop was hit with something as no antivirus sites will load for me so i cant download anything programs to clean it up and anytime i turn my msn on it sends messages to people

start menu -> run -> cmd -> cd\ -> dir hosts /s /a
it's somewhere in c:\windows\system32\etc ?
