I hate it when you take someone to a movie you're excited about and they're so bored by it that you have to leave. I only got to see half of Walk the Line. :mad:

I have been to plenty of movies with others where I was bored shitless and I have never even imagined making them leave because I didn't enjoy the movie. Thats pretty selfish and rude, IMO.

EXACTLY. But when I can feel someone isn't enjoying themselves, I will almost always offer to leave and do something we can mutually enjoy.

My wife almost fell asleep during Syriana tonight but as long as she wasn't snoring we were going anywhere. It was a little thick in the plot but well done none the less...

that sucks...how could anyone be bored by reese witherspoon?

I love her in interviews. She always seems so Southern-girl sweet, normal, and extremely smart for a Hollywood actress (heh). But when I see her on screen, the first thing I notice is how "tight" and pinched her face always looks.

She was great in the movie, even though I couldn't help comparing her performance to Sissy Spaceck's portrayal of Loretta Lynn. Coal Miner's Daughter is one of my FAVORITE movies.
