What are your opinions? The refreshrate is just 8ms... And better than all expensive screens like Eizo, Lacie etc etc.

Yeah I know, but it's not all about the refresh rate is it? What other aspects to look at ?

Samsung makes the best PC monitors.

And why? When you look at the specs, other LCD monitors look better....

It's like

Mercedes SLK 0-60 7 secs
Honda type R 0-60 6.2 secs

And saying the SLK is still faster...Can you please let me know what other aspects (rather then the response time and contrast) makes a monitor "good" or better than others? I am an LCD n00b, so fill me in:)

do you play games often? if not, the refresh rate is kind of secondary. but if you stare on it the whole day, it's kind of important that you have a good quality panel that makes a sharp and well lit picture. that's why LaCie for example is more expensive, but they have fantastic monitors that are built for people who use them throughout the whole day

We are using Benqs at the office, great stuff.

Buy dual screens man, once you are used to it you will never want to go single again ;))

I evaluate image quality before buying a new monitor.

Other things to look at when choosing a monitor include: Native Resolution, Contrast Ratio, Pixel Pitch, and Brightness (in lumins). Hope this helps

I can recommend Samsung 930BF.

4ms response, 700:1 contrast and colors are very nice on digital output :thumbsup

I owned two benQ lcd monitors.. returned them both for a NEC and a Dell LCD. Never been happier.

Thanks all...And don't need dual setup I guess. 20.1 Inch will be more then enough...Also I don't play games. It's just for "working" and some basic video editing
