Gunni 12-14-2005 12:28 AM

If a woman becomes president what will her husband be? The first Gentleman?

Bluewire Ross 12-14-2005 12:35 AM

Hillary Rodham Clinton

smack 12-14-2005 12:49 AM

vice president maybe. i don't see him carrying the ticket.

i think if he pairs up with mccain though, they would have the ticket to beat.

Nembrionic 12-14-2005 12:51 AM

I think most people are tired of extremists on both sides. I consider myself more conservative than not...but people who only see one side as having all the answers are fuckin sheep. Giuliani did a MUCH better job after 9/11 than Bush did...and people took notice. He also single handedly crippled the mob and cleaned up New York city. He's got my vote 110% :angrysoap

pradaboy 12-14-2005 01:15 AM

I think he stands a good chance.

Biggle,

I don't disagree with you on some of those points but Reality is: The republicans who vote in primaries and the party will not allow a pro choice, pro gay rights, liberal / moderate republican to get the nomination.. It just won't happen in 2008...

Just like Pataki doesn't have a chance, most likely Rice either, but with Rice there are other reasons also..

The right wingers / christian conservatives in the Party will not allow it, and they would also bow out of the election for the most part if something like that did happen..

Vp un Mccain, hmmm mabey.............. I don't think so though....

Theo 12-14-2005 01:31 AM

Arnold should speed up his masterplan lol

His political life doesn't have much time left Soul. While he might slip through and get re-elected, I think that will be it...

Changing the constitution to allow non born citizens to be elected president won't happen any year soon :)

Also, he has the same problem as others in this thread, He is a pro choice republican, gay rights supporter, etc..

Antonio 12-14-2005 02:44 AM

with a name like Giuliani he simply doesn't have a chance

reed_4 12-14-2005 03:01 AM

Let him try maybe he is much better than GWB.

flashfire 12-14-2005 03:03 AM

better than bush...but thats not saying much

Mr. Soul 12-14-2005 05:12 AM

I'll tell you who it's going to be.

Wait for it.

Wait for it.

George Bush Sr.

NickPapageorgio 12-14-2005 05:21 AM

I wouldn't be surprised with Dubya's latest popularity polls to see them nominate someone who is a little more middle of the road like Rudy is. Hell, with the hatred I have towards Bush and his administration, I am atleast open minded enough to hear the man's campaign views. I agree too, him and McCain would be a tough match to beat.

reynold 12-14-2005 05:22 AM

His face is too funny for presidency. :1orglaugh

" In 1944, Rudolph W. Giuliani was born to a working class family in Brooklyn, New York. As the grandson of Italian immigrants, Mayor Giuliani learned a strong work ethic and a deep respect for America's ideal of equal opportunity. He attended Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School (Class of '61) in Brooklyn, Manhattan College (Class of '65) in the Bronx and New York University Law School in Manhattan, graduating magna cum laude in 1968."

Yep. Gotta love the magma cum load.

I was actually suprised when I went to New York how many people spoke so badly about him. It was like they grouped 911 into one section but didn't like everythng else. It honestly did suprise me the bad mouthing he got from nearly everyone I met.

I have had this conversation so many times with British friends who just don't seem to understand that the change will never happen. I keep telling them that the exact same party that would vote for him are the same reason why the change of constitution to allow him to run will never go through. All it will take is one person to point out that it opens the door for a non-native muslim president and the case will be closed.
