Windows is gay.
So i'm browsing the interweb and manage to pick up some trojan that gets promptly removed by Kaspersky AV.
Now, apparently the virus changed some system files and Windows gives me "Insert Windows XP SP2 CD to restore files" But guess what the brilliant windows programmers didn't consider: Some people still have CDs with SP1! How on earth can I produce a CD with SP2 if I downloaded SP2 as a free update? :angrysoap |
i believe you can download sp2 and burn it to a cd.

so are most of the people registered in 04/05 and you don't hear bill gates complaining about you. :2 cents:

That's why I use it :thumbsup

Try using the old SP1 windows disc anyway. Sometimes they work, and other times you can skip files as it 'fixes' itself

why don't you get yourself linux?
