Why should you get head of line privileges for the Players Ball?
 

D-Money asked me last year to help out with the cluster fuck that always happens at every Player's Ball. Actually, I burned him on the boards, and he said, "If you think you can do better, than do it".

I've been in long enough to know the Players and Shakers. The new blood though... I may or may not know.

My question to all of you... Why should you get the "Player Treatment" with Head of line privileges?

Post why, and a picture of yourself.

I got 3 passes for the top 3 "Player Canidates".

I've got an original, first edition Players Card.
That's supposed to give me HoLP..... :thumbsup

Oh, there will be waiting. I have to work with the Club Staff on making sure we don't block the entrance with too many people.

The difference some will wait up front, and others in line.

doesn't everyone think they're someone in this biz? gonna be alot of bruised egos come second week in jan. you got BIZALLZ anthony to take D up on that. Props 2 U.

Remember last year A1R3K? How we got dissed at the side door trying to get in? I wanted to punch that muther fucker who put his hand on my chest, but then we'd never get in. :(

Plus, both our companies were SPONSORS! Imagine how everyone outside felt.

I hope to change the attitude a bit at the club.

Bottom line is, if you have a card you get head of line. If you are a Sponsor, you get head of line. If you are RonC, or of his caliber, you get head of line. If you are a mover and a shaker, and it goes on and on.

Not to be a dick, but the Player's Ball does get better every year, everyone wants in, and they will get in. This is gonna be a packed show, if you want head of line, and you dont' fit the earlier descriptions, this is the time to post!

well look at it this way, let an insignificant nobody like me in first, and then the women inside will be easier for all the players to hit on.

If you let all the studs in first, then by the time the doorman gets inside all the good loking women will be scooped up.

Update on Players Cards.

This is a true story.

Last year, we had a company called, Innovative Ideas out of NJ make those cards.

I had all emails and #'s in my computer, then my computer crashed and I don't have that info backed up. They have a ton of Players Cards already made, they owe me. If anyone can find them, I'll give you 10 Players Cards.

So for now, we can't re-issue them until they are found.

Those that have Players Cards, you're super lucky you got them. For those who didn't take the time to pick them up when you had them made, shame on you, you suck. Maybe I'll bring them with me, maybe.

So this year, each paying $5k sponsor and higher will have a limited amount of "Sponsor Area" passes. Those passes will be honored at the door like a Players Card. But those are super limited, so don't be offended if you don't get one, blame it on the sponsors, not me.

true dat. that was the most ridiculous security detail in the history of man. if any of my security teams at clubs handled that, they'd be looking for new jobs the next day. D got shafted on that situation. i just sat back and watched the circus to be a good witness when all the crying came the week after. not D's fault at all. matter of fact i watched the battle between the people that D had running his lists for him and such and the security actually treated them worse than the patrons trying to get in. i've never seen a nightclub security team work so poorly.

i am sure that you guys ont get treated like that at a harrah's property. i've held the entertainment contract at harrah's in san diego and they do not treat customers like that. the rio is agreat place to do this party. holds a ton of people. i am sure that D has already given the security his requests as part of him taking the party there.

i've already predicted that this show will be at capacity by 15 minutes - 20 minutes after the doors open. same thing goes for epic cash's rum jungle party.

Yup, My point exactly.

With only one "go to" party on each of the two biggest nights of the show, i would definitely not try to pull the "i'm so and so, i'll get in when its capacity" kind of thing.

Oh hell yes! The Players Ball without PimpMonk would be a tragedy for sure!

I would like in right away to preserve my Player status near 100% (in the eyes of my entourage anyhow).

Last year, despite waving my Players Card at 8 feet in the air in the middle of the crowd it took us 30 minutes to get in and my Player status went from 100% to 1%. After warming up inside and a few drinks later Player status rose back up to the high 90's. :1orglaugh :thumbsup :pimp

The Player's Card gets you to front of line no doubt, however, we have to comply with the club's requirements for letting ppl in. Generally speaking, usually no more than 10 people at a time in the front.

I promise you if you show me that card, you will be at the head of the line.

That sucks, there was a 30 minute period when they wouldn't let people flow in, sorry you got stuck in that.

So have you decided on specifics this year yet regarding the line/s?

One line for Sponsor Passes, Artists, Talent, Players Card holders and known Players

and the other line for everyone else or...?
