Epassporte scammers (alert)
 

Be careful.
I know most webmasters are savvy to these kinds of scams though.

Just got this email that looks official enough but isn't. Much the same as those ebay and Paypal scams where they collect usernames and passwords to accounts.

That URL actually goes to: http://213.139.10.6/lancaster/.ebcheck/index.html

It even attempts to LOAD A TROJAN before you do anything at all.
Don't be fooled.

The worst part here is that in all probability it's one of our own (a webmaster) who is behind this fucking shit. Because apart from Party Poker, the only people I have ever dealt with on Epass are webmasters.

Epassporte is also used to buy stuff or whatever it is to the Final Fantasy game. So there's also a chance this is some 13yo punk mailling from his mom's putter.

Anything's possible I suppose.

fucking phishers, good thing i was never stupid enough to fall for all the crap with paypal and the lot.

I know I sent them an email about it, not sure if anyone else did.

and it was on an old account that I had not used in long time
so I canceled it
not going thru that email
but off the site (official one)
even forwarded the email tpo paypal
not the first time Iget one like it

and yeah.. knew it was fake.. right from the start.. the links.. and all
