I never recieved the prize either.

oh shit... I'll gladly bump this thread! I made a logo in that contest too, didnt win, but its sad to see that the prices aren't paid!

What about the winner? Did he get anything?

I am not sure about the 1st place winner, i think in the original contest thread he posted that he was paid but i am not 100% sure.

Sadly, that drawing could come in handy for a few other situations. I just love the farfetched - out of the world - somewhere in la-la-land excuses. They get a chuckle out of me everytime!

I'm not so sure... but the last time he put up a contest, i was able to receive the prize money on time. I won 1st prize for the "carthost" logo contest and he did send the money through paypal.. :)

it's not like a care or give a damn about that prize... i will survive without it :) but a promise should be kept.

maybe next time he won't pay at all...anyway i am not entering any of his contests anymore.

Exactly!! That was my point, who cares about the damn software, but if you offer a prize and pick winners then pay up!!
